Where We’ll Be

All of our wedding events will take place in Northwest Brooklyn and Prospect Heights (home of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden). Between Prospect Heights, Bed-Stuy, Bushwick, Williamsburg, and Greenpoint, you’ll get to see a handful of the borough’s most interesting neighborhoods. The longest trip between any of our events is about 30 minutes by car, even with traffic.

Getting
Here

New York City is one of the easiest destinations to reach - you can arrive by car, train, or plane. The two closest airports are JFK International Airport and LaGuardia Airport, both of which are within a short drive of Brooklyn.

Getting
Around

Once you’re here, getting around is simple. Taxis and ride-share apps (Uber, Lyft, etc.) are widely available, and the subway is the most efficient way to travel across the city. Each of our wedding locations is near a subway stop (listed in the schedule), making it easy to navigate without a car.

Hotels are the most reliable option in New York City. Airbnb options exist, but they’re limited and sometimes unpredictable—though a quick search may turn up something fun if you’re feeling adventurous.

Below are some hotel suggestions in neighborhoods near the wedding events. While we haven’t stayed at all of them personally, they come recommended, and we’ve noted their proximity and character. A small tip: hotel rooms in NYC are generally on the cozier side, so plan accordingly.

Where to
Stay

Greenpoint

A charming and quieter neighborhood. The rehearsal dinner is walking distance from these hotels, the party is about a 15-minute drive, and the Botanic Garden is about 30 minutes by car.

The Box Hotel – Boutique-style, tucked at the top of Greenpoint.

Franklyn Guesthouse – Central location, same ownership as the Box, with a great restaurant downstairs.

Williamsburg

A little closer to the party and ceremony. Williamsburg is busier and trendier than Greenpoint, with lots of restaurants, bars, and stylish hotel options.

The Huxton – Chic and modern, part of a hotel group we’ve enjoyed in other cities.

Arlo Williamsburg – Sleek and contemporary; rooms are on the smaller side.

The William Vale – A splashy option with a rooftop and skyline views (also the priciest).

Coda Williamsburg – More budget-friendly, still stylish.

Prospect Heights

A central Brooklyn neighborhood known for its tree-lined streets, brownstones, and cultural landmarks. Staying here puts you right next to the ceremony.

The Box Hotel – Boutique-style, tucked at the top of Greenpoint.

Franklyn Guesthouse – Central location, same ownership as the Box, with a great restaurant downstairs.

DUMBO

A bit touristy, but picturesque, waterfront neighborhood with postcard views of the Brooklyn Bridge. A bit further from the rehearsal and party, but everything is still within a 30-minute drive.

1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge – Beautiful but pricey, with incredible views right on the water.
